Summer Reading Program

We are having an excellent turn our for our Summer Reading Program. To date we have held 2 Summer Reading Events and had 17 in attendance both days!!!

Our 1st day they did some team building games and the kids learned about what we will be doing during the Summer Program. On our 2nd day we made Yard Spinner’s out of Plastic Bottles. The kids had fun and so did us adults. I have a link to this craft down below.

Today will be our 3rd event and we will be making bird feeders!!! I’m excited because we are going to be making 3 different kinds of feeders. The Small Kids (1-5yrs old) will be doing peanut butter and toilet paper rolls. The Middle Kids (6-9yrs old) will be making their feeders out of a tea cup and saucer. And my Teen’s (10-16yrs old) will be making theirs out of an old book.
